Kids classes / Early Childhood Development / 1.5 – 5 y.o

Early childhood development lays the groundwork for future education and personal growth. For parents seeking to raise confident and successful children, this journey begins long before the first day of school. By the age of three, children are ready to absorb new information at an incredible pace, making this period crucial for their development.

Our early development classes are designed to support your child’s growth and exploration. With a focus on creative learning and interactive activities, our classes provide a nurturing environment for young minds to flourish. Instructor: Julia Fry

Teens 10 – 13 y.o

Ages 10 to 13 are a powerful time of growth. Children are becoming more independent thinkers, more creative problem-solvers, and more curious about the world around them.

At this stage, we focus on two things that matter most: how they think and how they create.

This is the age when abstract thinking begins to bloom. Kids start to analyze, plan ahead, and see connections between ideas. We nurture this through challenges that build focus, memory, logic, and critical thinking.

Chess is one of our key tools. It’s more than a game — it’s training for the mind. Through chess, students learn to think several steps ahead, manage emotions under pressure, make decisions, and learn from both wins and losses. These are life skills that go far beyond the board.

Creative Development & Fine Motor Skills

Creativity at this age is about self-expression and confidence. When a child makes something with their own hands, they learn patience, problem-solving, and pride in their work.

That’s why we bring craft and hands-on creation into every week. Through drawing, modeling, design projects, and building things from scratch, kids develop fine motor skills, attention to detail, and the ability to turn an idea into a real object. Creating with their hands helps their brains grow too — improving coordination, focus, and imagination.

At this age, we don’t separate “smart” from “creative.” We grow both together. Because the most capable young people are the ones who can think deeply and make beautifully.
